Re: Small kern pairs
My mistake, I should have searched for the specific topic in the forum before writing. I read the thread and your explanation makes a lot of sense. The font in question has an x-height of 470 (Can I ask you why is important?). Anyway In the desktop workflow process, I tend to limit the table to roug...

Small kern pairs
I don't know if it has already been discussed, but at the end of the kerning process, Kern On inserts a lot of very small kernings that are essentially useless (-1 +1, -2 +2). Is it possible to delete them without deleting the Model that have those values? I don't know if it makes sense to create a ...

Re: Accented letters issue
Quick update:
Rebooting the software and the problem seems to be fixed. Probably something didn't work properly and rebooting fixed everything. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Absolutely my fault not to check if the simplest way would have been the best way to solve the problem.

Accented letters issue
Hello There, I work extensively with kern on and now I'm starting to have more confidence with the tool and I ended up having really satisfying results. Nonetheless sometimes KO interprets some situations with no easy fix. Here is an example: KO see the diacritics above the base glyphs and recalcula...

Spacing and kerning
Hello there, I'm curious on how the kernOn engine works. Usually when I work on kerning it happens to change a little bit the metrics of a glyph if it seems to need too much kerning pairs. I know that it is not an orthodox way of working but for me kerning is an important step to testing spacing as ...

Keeping old kern table
Hi Tim, I look for informations on this forum but I didn't find anything about keeping old kern table of an existing file and let Kern On adds new ones aside the old ones. Is it possible? If I want to choose the option of using existing kerning from the start KernOn window the machine deletes the ol...

Re: Kern On crash on Glyphs 3
Hi Tim,
thank you for your prompt response.
I ran some test on Glyphs 2.6.7 and Glyphs 3.0.4 with a Single master file (2000 glyphs approx) and it worked perfectly!
Thank you again

Kern On crash on Glyphs 3
Hello Tim,
I'm currently using Glyphs 3.0.4 on Big Sur 11.5.2. The app crash every time after I set the first pairs and click on "Start Kern on". It works perfectly if I try it on Glyphs 2
