Why KO won't let me do anything but skipping suggestions?

I'm trying to adjust some pairs, but all KO lets me do is to keep skipping suggestions indefinitely. Even if I click on other pairs. Last time I had to close Glyphs to make it work normally, but now it just keeps forcing me to see suggestions without any options to work on something else.
