Kern On shows Model pairs as “parenleftT“

I just started Kern On in a file that had one master kerned, wanted to kern the italic of that master which had the kerning values from the first one from copying it and when I click the arrow to the right of “Model pairs” (or Independent pairs for that matter), I get this output format:

[...]
//x //d
//x //u
//j //comma
//k //period
//u //period
[...]

What is the reason of that and how can I prevent it?
I installed Glyphs cutting edge version today, could that have caused it? I’m on 3.2 (3173)

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for reporting this!

Yes, it is indeed related to Glyphs 3.2. (It’s not the only change in Glyphs that causes problems with Kern On and the Remix Tools).

I’ll try to find a work-around and update Kern On, or discuss with Georg to re-establish support for the existing versions of the plug-ins. Stay tuned.

In the meantime; does anybody know a way of converting this output into the desired one? A script or something?

The latest KO version (1.19) should work fine with Glyphs 3.2. Do you want to update and see whether it works for you? https://kern-on.com/update/
