HX H – why?

Hello, I am running into a rather frustrating issue. Why is my X being kerned so loosely on the right, while it is not kerned on the left? I first saw this when I set the master to autokern from another file, so I set up models manually. The issue persists, also after restarting Glyphs, Kern On, the whole lot.

When I try to set XH as a (zero) model as well, Kern On complains that it is too tight.
