Kern On

Hello,

I am working through my font with kern-on and seems like it doesn't want to set kerning for the 'lslash''lslash' combination - it's a must in Polish language as the double łł look very awkward without it. Do you know what might be the reason? While kern-on is working and I'm typing the word "Jagiełło" or "JAGIEŁŁO" in the edit view it kerns it, but after running it and generating kerning there is none for that specific pair. It does, however, kern the Lslash Lslash.ss01 combo.

To keep the pair during the final kerning, you can try to increase the data size (kB).

It is also possible that your font has many kerning pairs, and you can reduce the number. Maybe there are lots of pairs that should not need kerning?

You can use the pairs drop-downs on “neutral” glyph sides to detect other glyphs that lead to unnecessary non-zero pairs because they are not spaced correctly: https://kern-on.com/manual/#pairs-drop-downs
